Current is different for different components. Why they do differ? Some components provides the easy path for the flows of electric current. But some components do not allow the flow of electric current and resists the flow. As we know that the flow of charge or flow of electrons in electric circuit is known as electric current. But , electrons are not freely moving within the conductor . they are restrained by the attraction of atom among which they move. So , moving electrons in a conductor is retarded by its resistance. So , a good conductor is that components which allows a low resistance and the components having higher resistance is a poor conductor or bad conductor. An insulator having high resistance.
